When do you open?
No date yet. We are still securing land, and we are not going to announce a date we cannot hold to. The build page tracks where things stand, and everyone on the roster hears the opening date first.
Where will the field be?
In the Lima area — the exact location depends on which property we land. As soon as the ground is secured, the address and directions go up on the contact page.
Do I need my own gear?
No. Rental packages will cover the marker or replica, eye protection, and air. Bring closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, long pants, and water, and we handle the rest.
How old do you have to be?
Minimum ages are still being set, and they differ between airsoft and paintball. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian signature on the waiver, and a parent may need to stay on site depending on the player's age.
Does it hurt?
Paintball stings, and it leaves a welt sometimes. Airsoft stings less but stings more often. Long sleeves, gloves, and keeping your distance make a real difference — and on the airsoft side, minimum engagement distances exist precisely so nobody takes a high-energy shot at close range.
Is it all woods, or do you have speedball?
Both. The woodland side is where the airsoft and woodsball games run, and there are two dedicated speedball fields with inflatable bunkers. One is built to NXL regulation size at 150 by 120 feet, the other is a smaller 120 by 100 foot field for players still learning the format. You are not stuck with one or the other.
Can I bring my own paint or BBs?
Paint comes from the field — outside paint causes breaks and jams that ruin a day for everyone. BBs you can bring, as long as they meet the posted weight and quality standard. No metal, no ceramic.
Walk-ons or reservations?
Both, once we are running. Open play days will take walk-ons, and groups will be able to reserve a date ahead of time. Private buyouts always need a reservation.
Can we book a birthday party?
That is one of the first things we want to offer. Get on the roster and we will reach out when the booking calendar opens.
Can parents watch without playing?
Yes. There will be a spectator area with a view of the staging zone. Spectators still sign a waiver and still wear eye protection anywhere near a live field.
What happens if it rains?
We play. Mud is part of it. We only close for lightning, high wind, or conditions that make the ground genuinely unsafe, and we will post closures on social media and email the roster.
Can I play airsoft and paintball on the same day?
The plan is to run them on separate days or in separate zones rather than mixing them in one game. The gear and the velocity rules are different enough that combining them is a bad idea.
Are you hiring?
Not yet, but we will need referees and staff before opening day. There is a checkbox for that on the roster form — tick it and you go on the short list.
Do you have land yet?
Not yet. If you own or know of roughly 10 acres or more in the area, wooded or partly wooded, we would like to hear from you. Lease or purchase are both options.
